Choosing Your New Guinea Pigs: Long-haired or Short-haired?

The pros and cons of long-haired verses short-haired guinea pigs! Helpful advice for anyone looking into getting pet guinea pigs. I discuss temperament, grooming, cage bedding and handling, as well as talking a little bit about my own guinea pigs - Sprite, Willow, Twiglet and Lyra!
My advice is that new/less experienced owners should go for short-haired piggies as long-haired guinea pigs require a lot more grooming, trimming and bathing - which isn't as fun as it sounds!
